Florida High Tech Corridor Council

The University of South Florida is a large urban research university with optics and photonics research distributed throughout several interdisciplinary centers and institutes. USF is designated as a “Research University” by the Carnegie Foundation, and had over $300 million dollars in research grants during the past year.
